It seems we are not very lucky as we lost photos of the 10 days we stayed in Argentina. Anyway, we will try to summarize everything we did.
After Salta, we went to Cafayate, place of great wines as we can assure you. On the bus, we crossed La Quebrada de las Conchas, a spectacular valley of red land and impressive mountains (the photos we have posted are from internet), so on the next day we rented bikes and we took a bus that left us 50 km away to do the way back on our own, or that is what we wanted to do, because one of the bikes broke on the bus and we were on the middle of nowhere without any way to go back. We tried to visit a little bit of the valley but after a couple of hours tired of walking with the bikes, we could stop a car who brought us back to Cafayate.
During the couple of days we stayed there, we visited two "bodegas", where we learnt more about how to produce wine and of couse we tried their several specialities.
As we found some people who told us we had to visit Tafi del Valle, we took a bus to go there, but we found it without any interest and cold so we only spent a night there before going to Tucuman, another colinial city with nice buildings, but what we liked the most was the weather. After the cold Altiplano and the winter in the North of Argentina, it was great to be able to were T-shirt and to eat outside.
We had a lot of hopen on Mendoza, but apart from San Martin park and some of the squares, it was just another big city. We wanted to go to sky but the season was just closing on that day (we will try in Chile), we wanted to visit the Aconcagua National Park but it was raining in the city, so snowing there. Luckly, when we went to Chile, we crossed it and the day was sunny, so it was a spectacular view.
