We had a nice time in Istanbul, it is pretty different to most of the places we have been to, all the man on the streets are on the hard sell. All the food is TURKISH kabab style!! now I know this sounds strange but 4 meals in a row of kabab rice and salad is a bit much. I can only image what it will be like for 2 more weeks.

The blue mosque is very beautiful. I love all of the ceramic sold on the street. So I bought some tiles the first day we were here.... much to Adams disgust.

We visted the Cistern (under ground thing) and Sophia today (another very old church that was turned into a mosque).

4 times a day the whole city can hear the chantting or what ever it is ( worship) from the mosques, it's nothing like I have experienced before it's crazy.

So Yes we like Istanbul. And the baklava is very nice here.
