During the time Tet and Kath were staying we went to WICKED the musical in London on the Friday night, it was fantastic. On the Saturday the boys went to the time trials for the Tour De France in the city. They had a great view under Westminster Abbey and Big Ben.
Kath and I caught up wit one of Kath's friends and we did the girlie thing, shopped, lunched, and went to another Westend show. This time more traditional Phantom of the Opera, which was a cultural experience for me.But great to see. Later on we caught up wityh the boys for dinner at a nice Italian place we had been to before in Covent Garden. On Sunday we took a road trip to Southwold, which is 2.5hrs from Grays up the east coast.
I took a BBQ (english style, tin tray and grill with coals) and we had a sausage sizzle in the park, it was great, although no-one had faith in my BBQ, but it pulled through for me. The sun shone for the day, so it was nice. Monday night we took them to the faithful SHIP (pub) where we always go for last minute top class carvery, with Yorkies. More thumbnails ...
