On the Sunday we drove to Brighton, it only took an hour to get down there. The weather had cleared a bit, so it wasn't to bad. The pier was packed with side showy games and rides, and lots of fish and chip shops. The beach was peebles. We all tried the cockles and whelks ( some form of shellfish). We didn't like them much.
