Ok, a 2 day full immersion in Amesterdam was enough. We had planned, before starting the travel, to stay only 2 days in Amsterdam, because we feared that we could lost some other great places if we would stop relaxing one week in Amsterdam. After all, our intention was to travel around, not to stay too much in a single location.
We also spend more money than we planned, and being in a campsite outside the town, with no means (except maybe swimming in the canal) to reach it after nigthfall, we enjoyed the days but went to sleep early at night.
It was time to move again, so in early morning we said goodbye to Amsterdam and went back on the rails. We first went to Brussels, Belgium, but after a brief walk in the surroundings of the station, we decided that we wanted to go back to France. We hadn't a clear motivation for that, but I think that after Amsterdam, who we always thougt of as the middle point of our trip, we have had enough of capitals, big cities and urban life. Or maybe the day after leaving Amsterdam out minds were still messed up :)
