Well what a pain in the ass to get to Canoa was... a bus tha was supposed to take 5 hours took fuckin 8 and on top of that you have to deal with little shits tryin to rip you off on bus prices.
Canoa seemed sweet though beach, sun sand all the good stuff, plenty of places to eat and a decent hostel to stay in. It was off out for a drink and badly needed food. Had some wicked hammocks on the balcony which i mad full use of then for the rest of the evening.
Following morning i hit the beach for a wander which is shared between fishermen and surfers. Its got some amazing waves and a long sandy beach. I spent most of the day body boarding which is awsome on these waves and the i ran into Ben from Germany who i had left Peru with so we caught up for dinner and drinks and hit the town. Every bar has something going on each night but we wound up having good fun and met a load more people in the process.
Definitly impressed with this Canoa place.. a much better vibe to it as well than Montanita or puerto lopez had.
