The boat took about an hour to get over to Utila in the Bay islands, and once there myself chris kate hayden jo and jarred headed off in the search of a place to stay and a diving school... The rest of the guys were all keen to do diving courses and most dive schools give free accomadation when you sign up so it didnt really bother me where we went as i had done the padi course in koa tao in thailand.. anyway we wandered into the Utila watersports office where we met chris a welshman and he showed us this gift private apartment across the street overlñooking the bay with a priovate dock to the water and sun deck hammocks the lot.. use of kayaks.. couldnt go wrong so we just took it as we would have been stupid not to take it. We instantly settled in and five minutes later i was jumping off the pier and swimming in the carribean waters again. In the apartment we had a big ass kitchen and loads of space so we cooked up great food an loaded up the fridge. Myself and Chris did a load of fishing with lines off the pier and from the Kayaks and we managed to pull in several snapper sunset from the Apt

 . He was too afraid to handle them so i had to do all the de-hooking and decide which ones we let go and which ones we were eating.. Unfortunatly one of the big fuckers we caught decided to bite me leaving a fair dent in my fingers...lol... cooked him good though. Had to get Thai a guy we met diving to show us how to gut and de-scale the feckers.
Anyway what we were really here for was diving which i got well into again as it is dirt cheap here too, so had great fun chaulking up a few more dives and another night dive which was a blast. Also met up with Harti from Brazil again out on the island so we were all able to catch up for dinner and drinks. Spent most of my days messing about and in the water here and lazing about... Found it really hard to leave and definitly one of the highlight places on the trip so far.
