Well another border crossing to do and as usual this is no normal crossing, the road to it was a dirt track full of muddy water.. you would swear that it is just a farm road but sure enough we hit the border and into Belize i go. Belize is part of the commonwealth and the fuckin bitch queen is even on their notes.. shame.. anyway it was a colony until 1981 and it is still geting back on its feet.. unusually english is most widely spoken here and is more or less the main language.. its very carribean and incrediebly laid back.. i was loving it and the people were great. San Ignacio is just over the border and its an up and coming town. once i found a place to stay i changed some cash and headed for Pehal Cezh which was another maya temple ruins and old city. there was a lot of history attached which was really interesting considering between 10 and 20 thousand people lived in this small ol city. So musch of the jungle in Belize has been stripped and destryoyed which is a shame and some of the land despite it being green is a bit barren.
