Eight hours of flyimg overnight and land in the new Tom Bradley terminal at LAX. I only flew into LA once before and this time i had a window seat and a facinating view of the city. Im not a fan of LA but it looked great flying into it.. blue skys light dusting of snow on the mountains in the east... sierra nevadas i think but i could be mistaken on that.. Anyway LA is a massive city so spread out with no real centre to it, last time i was here was november 02. I was already knackered as i didnt sleep a wink on the plane and was quite surprised i sailed through imigration there so easy..All i had to do now was dump my bag somewhere and kill 20 hours or so in the city before my next flight out... But due to september 11th the american airports dont have left luggage storage anymore... fuck.. i hardly want to walk about LA for the day with my poxy backpack so i jumped in a shuttle bus for Hollywood where i had stayed before.. so i went to a hostel there i had stayed at before and they very kindly stored my bag for me after i fed them a load of lies Capitol records and hollywood sign.. behind

Anyway i spent most of the day knocking about Hollywood, bought a few things i needed and ate loads.. happy days.. Weather was lovely too and really warm.. was wondering why everyone in LA was dressed in jackets too, i had forgot it was winter here and once the sun went down it got cold.. it was dark at 5 too which i thought was really odd having left southern hemisphere. Have to say there is one hell of alot of weirdos in LA. Made my way back to the airport with subway and bus.. now i had a couple of postcards to mail and there is always mail boxes at airports or so you would think but again due to terroist shit no post box at airport.. feck sake. Anyway i was there late Monday nite for my Early tuesday am flight to Guatamala city in Guatamala
