Been quiet the last few weeks.. ticking along at work but have taken the odd mental health day to hit the cinema and go for a drive.. screw it i get 5 free sick days from work so got to use em up.. i see them as holidays.. Anyway it was another roof shout at work the week before so the company paid for a whole nite out for us.. idiots put it on a thursday nite so naturally only half the staff were able to make work friday and we pretty much did nothing anyway... It was Billy's last weekend then in New Zealand so saturday we drove down to Glenorchy for a look about.. its about 50km past queenstown.. end of the road kinda place on the edge of lake wakatipu.. but quite nice down there all the same.. Back in queenstown then saturday nite hit a few bars and as determined as we were to win the quiz in morrisons sunday.. no joy again.. The weekend passed i went snow boarding with Bevin and Adam from work.. We went up to Cardrona which is up in the Crowne range between queenstown and Wanaka.. There was a big snow dump during the week so conditions were really good.. I had never gone boarding before but Adam was to show me how.. And took me straight onto the steepest run.. (lieing bastard told me it was a learning slope... lol) Anyway i took off no bother but soon figured i couldnt stop or turn and that was crash one... Must have fallen at least 50 times during the day but by end of day i could go along nicely.. obviously still falling lots of course.. did manage to smash into two safety poles.. (broke them too...lol) Anyway the boarding is great fun but am covered in bruises after it. Sunday i was up early and took a walk up Queenstown hill which i had been wanting to do for ages.. it has stunning views of the town and mountain ranges.... unfortunatly i havent any photos from the last few weeks as my poxy camera shit the bed but have a new one on the way i ordered from the states..
