So after leaving Kaikoura we hit another road heading for Hanmer springs which is a resort in the mountains famous for these natural hot springs. It took us about 2 hours to drive there through the mountains. Once we hit Hanmer we went straight for the springs and like the kids we are got pass'es for some waterslide that they have there (good choice). The springs are great.. and they have a whole range of hot water spring pools although some of them stink of sulphur and other minerals. Appearantly its all good for your body and skin etc. We made full use of the slide although i think the lifegaurd wanted to throw us out for messing about on it.
From here it was another 2 hours drive ish back to Christchurch and as poor brad wasnt able for another nite out myself and karl hit the bog for dinner and a few drinks and we met up with a few of our housemates and friends in Finns for a few more drinks fairly late... Probably should have went late to work monday cos at this stage i was lacking in sleep big time.
