Well worked hard all week and friday came and the rain poured down which sucked for working in.. i just dont have the clothes to work in the rain.. Working away in shorts when its pissing rain and a little cold sucks.. Anyway work put on a load of pizzas at lunchtime which was nice (a bribe i guess to keep us working a few hours longer...worked on me) and 3 o clock came so meself and Karl buggered off home and started on the beers for the evening watching a few Dvd's in the house with the new housemates.. Saturday i had all kinds of good intentions to either go for a drive to mount hutt or if not maybe go to work and i got up at 6am to find it was pissing rain so that ruled work out... not worth it.. thanks.. and knew the views in the mountains would be limited so ended up doing some shopping and hitting a few bars around town. Went to the Bog then for a few drinks and decided to behave and go home at 2am so i would be fresh enough ish ... to get up to watch the Ireland England rugby match which was to start at 6.30 am sunday morning.. Now i got to say this time difference is a killer for following sport. Anyway Karl cried off and couldnt get up for the match but not a bother up i got changed (after 3 hours sleep) eyes looking a tad bloodshoot but all good and down then to The Bard on Avon bar... An English pub who was showing the match.. only bar showing it funny enough.. and when i walked in the place was full of Irish a few english and some Welsh. I met up with the staff from the Bog and met a few other irish and scottish lads so we all had a crackin laugh and was a great atmosphere for the match with Ireland geting a record win.. nice one... made my day.. So sat with the Bog staff and a few others having a few pints and then we all made our way over to the Bog pub where some of the lads worked.. We stayed there for a few more drinks and time seemed to fly by.. At this stage we had repersentitives from Ireland, england, scotland and wales at the table and when i made it home it was nealy five in the afternoon... definitley bed time now.
On monday it was back to work which was grand although the energy does sap out of you when it hits 35 degrees, Also got to meet up with rachel as she was down sorting some visa stuff. Unfortunatly ive no photos from this weekend and cant believe i didnt bring my camera out with me but not to worry.
