. Anyway we started off at a regular table and finished up drinking at the bar. (actually matt and eric ended up behind the bar at one stage..not serving booze though) we had a good laugh with some of the staff their who were dead sound. By the time we left Sennda it was well after 3am and everyone was in good spirits. Dont remember the walk back to the hotel but im sure there was food involved and it was six before i got to see my bed. The following day everyone was a littlle worse for ware and i must have ate something dodgy as felt like shit all day. (nothing to do with booze) I took a lazy day then and didnt do much other than print off an airline ticket and hit the beach for a while. Back out then for a quiet nite then and we visited a few more bars... leaving one having all been harrassed by a crazy australian but it gave us all a good laugh. Mia one of the girls with us who is from Bali brought us out to this fancy hotel bar place on the beach in seminyak which was really nice. We all just lay out on a big deck chair thing having a drink just off the beach watching the waves crash. On the way home myself and Mel from australia who works with matt stopped off at the expresso bar for a couple of drinks and to watch a band who seemed pretty good. Back home late again to my hotel on the back of a motorbike. My last day in Bali i spent spending the rest of my Rupiah which wasnt too hard once i got my hands on a few DVD's. Matt Eric and Mel all had early afternoon flights back to Jakarta so once they left i hit the beach for a bit and made my way to airport. Anyway nearly a three hour flight ahead to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
Rite had just had a wicked new years in Gili and now faced a full days travel back to Kuta beach in Bali. So got on a little boat.. sea was really rough and made the short crossing to Bangsal from here got a bus with no leg room back to Lembar the ferry port to Bali. I was with a few people i had met on the island and at the ferry terminal i met the two canadian lads matt and eric who had missed their ferry to go back to bali just before new years cos the 31st is a holiday in lombok.. so seemed like they had a good time in Senggigi anyway. We caught up on the ferry back to Bali.. poxy five hours of slow sailing with an hour delay at both ports on top so dont think anyone was impressed. It took another hour and a half bus ride then back to Kuta and at this stage had been travelling for about 11 hours. I got some local food with matt and eric and we then found ourselves a hotel. The L.A Inn just off poppies lane one. Then met up with some friends of the canadian lads and headed for cafe Sennda on the main drag
