The week and a half started with Daniel being late, as always, to our desiginated meeting point.  I stayed in a new hostel, in a new location in the city which ended up being a good decision.  The bar next-door to the hostel, owned by the hostel, turned into the one straight bar I've been able to take Daniel to more than once! 
On the 21 Gina arrived at 7am.  I managed to show here around in 24 hours and we were off to the airport in the morning on the 22nd.  It was raining and cold.  Such is Dublin.
