so not impressed with that city. so happy to be back in rabat. i'll try to sum-up my 48 hours in marrakech:
10 hours on a steamy-hot train.
cat-calls from every person with a penis within a 20 foot radius. my favorite had to be the dozen or so men who just said "fish and chips". yeah. language.
exploitation on every level imaginable.
i came home dirtier from this place than i did from the sahara (the place where i lived in sand).
everything is suuuuuper expensive.
got some strange *i'm totally fine, OMG i'm gonna be sick, i'm totally fine* thing that lasted, literally 10 minutes. totally strange. i think it was the mint tea...
every meal consisted of meat on a stick and bread.
good things: ummmmmmmmmm, i got a new scarf that was uber expensive but also sold to me by a super cute old man. the hotel was awesome and cheap (50 dirhams a night, less than 10$). at least now, if someone asks, i can say *yeah, i've been to marrakech*. and......that's about it!
back to work in the morning. i'll be with gina now, in out-patient, for the next few days and then i'll move to in-patient with callie. fun fun fun.
