Today is your lucky day!!!! I decided to post the blog I had already wrote and write a quick little update as well.  The past couple days I spent at the MCC office having a workshop with all of the partner groups that are associated with MCC.  Maybe later I will be able to tell you more about what they are doing here.  It was really neat to see all of the different organizations that they partner with and the different things that they do.  We also spent some time talking about peace and development.  It was really interesting.  Especially since a couple of the groups are focused on peace it was really neat to get there opinion on things.

Today is just orientation getting to know what we will be doing and finding our way around.  If your wondering why "we"...There is someone here from the states he arrived yesterday and will be staying for three months as well.  We had a tour this morning and got to see all the Faith Alive is about.  It was really neat to see just a little glimpse of everything they do. 

The part I was most excited about was there social services department.  They are able to take people and teach them the skills that they need to generate income on there own.  This includes a sewing, knitting, computer, hair salon, and arts and crafts school.  I'm sure that I will tell you more about those as time goes on.  It's just nice to see that things arn't only focused on "medical stuff" but are holistic and well rounded.

So HE will be joining you. I would like to know more about this HE you get to get to know in the next three months.
