After 5 leaving parties, a huge rush to get everything ready, and some of the most stressful weeks of our lives, I eventually make it to the London Eurostar terminal with just 25 minutes to spare. After a complicated change of trains in Paris, I was whizzing through the French countryside on my way to San Sebastian, the gastonomical capital of Spain, to do a language/cooking course.

San Sebastian is a gorgeous city, and the area is like no other part of Spain. It's very green, and there's a noticable difference in culture too. After a very enjoyable two weeks meeting people from all over the world, and going out to the early hours "Pincho crawling", I got a coach over to Barcelona to meet up with Patricia who had been sunning herself on the beach for the past two weeks.
That night we firstly went out for our last big feast with Patricia's family, and then partied to the early hours with our friends.

After a day of sorting out our last minute packing, and trying to squeeze all our belongings into a 60 and 55 litre rucksack, we made our way down to the train station in Barcelona to get our overnight sleeping train to Zurich. This is where our long journey would really begin.

We said bye to Patricia's family, settled in to our compartment, and cracked open a bottle of Champagne. We were finally on our way.
