Monday 18th August
We left after breakfast and drove up to Bellingham which is about 10 miles from the Canadian border. This was to be our last day in the states. As the weather was terrible we decided to go to a mall. We found a really good one called the Bellis Fair Mall which is obviously very popular with Canadians, who come across the border in droves to take advantage of the cheaper prices in the US.
We spent all afternoon shopping! After we had had enough at about 7pm we went across to Boston's to have pizza. We had a family conference to try and decide where we were going to spend our last night in the States. We finally agreed that as it was cool enough and it was also quite late that we should just drive to Walmart!
When we got there we realised that it was obviously the place to be as we counted at least 25 RV's all parked up for the night! We had a laugh at this as we have never seen more than about 3 or 4 at a time when we have been parked at other Walmarts around the country. Most of these RV's were Canadian too.
We found a spot amongst everyone else and went for a quick shop and to use the loo before going to bed.
