Tuesday 12th August

When we woke up the park sprinklers were going and would you believe one of them was RIGHT outside our door!!! We had to time it right to actually get out while the sprinkler was moving away from us and then quickly close the door before we all got soaking wet inside!

Once we had showered etc we drove round to an amazing bakery/coffee shop that had wireless internet. In fact all the shops seemed to be offering it and we felt that this tiny place was trying to make all the travellers like us feel really welcome.  We spent a long time doing emailing and of course trying to up-date this blog.  Sorry we didn't get all the photos on yet but that is a long process too so watch this space.

We met a lady called Alexa from Seattle who was doing some work on her computer in the café. As we left and were about to drive away she asked if we would like to come up to her summer house on Alta lake for a swim and a soak in the hot tub!  So we agreed to follow her up the road and parked in a perfect shady spot on their drive way.

We met her children Gabriella 4 and William 1 plus the Nanny  - Judith and her granddaughter Suzanne 9.  They were staying for a week in their lovely house which is in the most stunning location you could imagine.  The house has its own beach and pontoon which has a speed boat, Kayak and all the usual associated water toys to go with it. It was spectacular and we felt honoured to be offered the chance to relax in this place for the afternoon. The kids had a ball of course. Steve took them out on the Kayak and we all went swimming.

Akexa, Judith and the kids actually had been invited to friends for dinner and we said we would go back down to the river and camp in the same place as last night but they offered to let us stay in the RV there as long as we didn't mind them going out for the evening.  We were more than happy to do that as it was a great spot to camp.

We made dinner and took it down to the wooden table under the pergola, over looking the lake and had a perfect view of the sun going down.
