Another early morning for our tour.
After a minibus ride of a little over two hours we got to out first activity; white water rafting.
The equipment was a bit substandard and the safety briefing ineffective but the local guides knew the river and with two guides per raft, the risk of running grade 2+ and 3 rapids was OK (being a former white water rafting guide I'm particular about this type of thing).
Following the rafting we went to visit a local waterfall and Eli and I went for a swim. Awesome experience - especially seeing as I was the only tourist able to climb into the waterfall...man I rock!
Next up was a short ride to the Elephant centre and an Ox ride (this was OK but short), an Elephant ride, Silla and Eli riding Lopet and I rode Cumsan. Very enjoyable with the exception of Silla dropping an AA sized camera battery into the stream while getting the small camera out.
After the Elephant trek was riding ATVs. Wicked!!! Eli thought that going round with Silla was boring but liked going fast with me. - Did I mention that I Rock?
Following the ATV ride was an Elephant show, then a 1.5 hour drive home.
Started feeling tired once we got to the hotel so we had a nice Thai dinner then visited the internet cafe to find some pictures of James Bond that the local artists can turn into paintings for the media room at home, then bed.
Starting to feel pretty excited about diving tomorrow.
