Today Ellen and I both had a lay in, getting up at 9.45 which is the longest lay in ever !
The sun finally came out and we had a wonderful day. First delivering biscuits to Har's work ( Ellen and zoe made them yesterday while mummy had a little nap), then we went off to the Queensland state library where there is a special area for children to play which for this week is a  'shed'. Ellen did some gardening, played with chickens and practiced car maintenence and had a go at puppetry with zo zo ( watch out Punch and Judy).




We had a lovely walk along the Brisbane river and over the Victoria Bridge to do some shopping, Ellen was in heaven in a shop with an extensive range of tourist tat ( Love it ! )




This evening we had our first Aussie BBQ, which is fairly similar to ours but its outdoors on the deck ! and was still fairly warm for a winters evening, also no throw away BBQ's here, its the real deal, takes up half the deck  :)

looks like you are having a great time, at least the sun is shining for you now, its good to see all your photos, even though it makes me a little envious, keep posting, so we can enjoy more of your photos and your adventures in Aus.
