Arrived at Las Vegas Monday after a short airplane flight and checked in at the Paris we were fortunate enough to be able to pay for an early check-in. On route to our room past the many shops one young man said "Oh Darling your rosacea is bad come here and we will help you". Another question to universe prior to trip was I would love to find something to help rosacea as their has been no help that works available in Australia. So we dragged our suitcases in and we were helped! If you know about what happened to us in Mauritius well this was the same......

It's a bit like Bali here in that everyone is trying to sell to you people talk to you and offer you free gifts if you will just look at this time share or that something, gets annoying.

We went out and walked for miles, got back exhausted and then had a few drinks at the bar (a few hmmm well that's a story in itself). Tuesday was a quiet day until we went on the city tour. Highly recommend that, got to see a lot in a shorter time.

It is difficult to imagine the size of all the different themed hotels and although they are next door to each other it's a long way to walk. There is so much to see and do it is overwhelming. While in the Paris at a café it feels like you are outside with the sky, the trees and the external façade of the buildings around you. The Venetian also does this very well. The Casinos themselves look similar to every other casino with lots of lights and noise to excite you, the biggest difference is you can smoke here which is not so pleasant for us non-smokers.

We took a helicopter ride to see the Grand Canyon it was great and the pictures cannot do it justice. We landed at Canyon Ranch where we had a great lunch, a cowboy show then a wagon ride up to see some Buffalos. Did you know that Buffalo was hunted until there were 300 animals left? In the old days each herd was 20miles wide and 50miles long hundreds of thousands of these beasts. With all the conservation methods there are now 800,000 nationally.
