We are getting the 7am bus to Arusha, which left about an hour late - due to a missing bus driver. For some reason DarExpress was not very express and stopped everywhere! Strange that the buses are weighed twice during the journey!

We arrived at 6pm and got into the Kitunda guest house in a small ensuite for 25,000TSH.

We spent the next day in Arusha just to see what it was like. There were a couple of really nice places to have a drink Via Via and Jambos restaurant, but apart from that there was little else apart from a large supermarket and many mzungos/white people in 4WD vehicles. All that I can say is the view of the mountains behind , which I presumed was Kili were stunning and the weather was much colder there and you definitely needed a jumper.
