We fly to Kilimanjiro at 7am - so that means a nice 4am wake up call.

Can't believe we got to the airport 2 hours early , like we were told and the airport was closed.... didn't open until 5.45am.. oh well. The 20 people got onto the tiny propeller plane and enjoyed the yoghurt, croissant and tea breakfast.

There is no transport out of Kilimanjiro airport apart from taxis - which costs 50 US Dollars to either Moshi or Arusha and yes you can pay in Dollars! So we decided to go to the laid back Moshi, which was a little closer to Dar es Salam (the capital of Tanzania).

We feel like we have done enough safaris on our trip so we just spent the day catching up on sleep, buying bus tickets and taking a look around the small town. It felt like a huge contrast to Kigali, where you weren't hassled as here everyone wants to talk to try and get you to take their safari or buy their souveniers, which seemed more expensive than uganda and Rwanda. I just had a cold and wanted to retract from the world.
