We caught the bus to Kampala and a minibus to Entebbe and had a long walk to the Backpackers to take their last room, since the place was full with 3 overland trucks and other people.
It seems that the Lonely Planet on East Africa is about 5 years out of date as we walked about 45 mins to go to the Lao restaurant, which closed 5 years ago, then found out that Bussi island, where we wanted to go and relax and step either side of the equator has also been closed many years - not impressed, especially when we realised they had already booked our room out the next night so we had nowhere to stay and had to leave.
Entebbe itself is nice quiet small town, where everyone expects you to have just got off the plane. Would have been nice to stay a little longer, but we decided to cut our losses and head back to Kampala.
