the most scary bus journey in the world. Ok there may be fabulous views from Gondor to Askum but when you are in a huge bus going around hair pin bends and even the locals get off when the bus is too big to go around the corner and starts reversing and edging closer and closer to the edge of the cliff and the others are praying, you really start to wonder about if you are going to survive the journey!

Also as the bus journey started at 6am (before sun rise) and arrived at 7pm (after sunset) it meant that you were not allowed to get your bags off the top of the bus until sunrise the next day. So there we were in Shire - 2 hours  away from Askum with nothing but our day sacks!
