Arrived into Cape Town and again no flight delays so totally delighted.  Glad we made choice to leave now we are excited about what we have planned for the next few made.

Today was all about sharks its was the reason we came here and it most certainly didn't disappoint.  The tour guy said it was as close to perfect as we could have got.

We had a 2 hour drive to the boat where we were given a great breakky before heading out just 15 mins from shore.  Once again me and my stupid water fear was playing up - having to push myself underwater to hold my breath and view them seemed like a massive mission - I am such a plonker as it was really easy.

After a few mins of baiting we were first up in the cage, 5 in total, we had 2 sharks circling and it was great, they were large sharks but not as big as I imagined.  The second group and third went in and by the time the 3rd group were in a few HUGE ones 6m long the guy said.

Once all groups were done we got a chance to get back in and the giant ones were in there - it was unreal words cannot describe how massive and strong they look in the water trying to get the bait coming so close to the cage if you stuck your hand out you would be touching it.

A few got out and we were allowed to stay in - the water was freezing I was shivering but no way was I getting out - I could have stayed there all day, by this point there was 9 different sharks two of which were 6m of sheer muscle and teeth.

All of a sudden a massive one came straight to the cage to get the bait and bit half in half out the cage RIGHT IN FRONT OF US.   The clatter of the cage shaking against the side of the boat was so loud and it was a wet suit filling moment...all those teeth right in my face what an experience.

Needless to say the guy called us out after that - we got the DVD and when I get home I will post the video of the end bit of it biting haha crazy to think my head was within inches hehe totally amazing I loved every bit of it

MASSIVE honestly just massive its body swimming by was huge and muscly !!

That night we went to Mama Africa restaurant its pretty well know here, we shared a massive steak  and tried the game platter...Ostrich, Crocodile, Warthog, Kudu, Springbok and venison sausage - they were all super tasty, had a great wee band on after too - super day well n truly had.
