I have made it to Africa. It look a long time but i made it. People are very friendly. We will see what is too come. I am here in Ghana Accra Connecting with the music scene.
I went to a nice concert last night on the closest beach; lots of Reggae action. It was bob Marleys 61st birthday. There was this great band from San fransisco also.
They are here for a world music festival. It starts this sunday.
I met a guy who plays the kora and he offered to make me a kora and teach me.
I am still waiting to get the best instrument.
I met a guy who has a radio show here named Black Santo and he said he would play our cd on his show. Some friends have invited me to stay in their houses by the beach
The weekend is coming and this music festival
so i am still here in the city. Things is Ghana are very much like indonesia
I like the pop music here too. High Life! Today off to wander around and play music meet new friends and experience a new culture. Having fun. Eric
