Sorry for the lack of blogging but it's been an amazing 2 days to get to where we are now barafu camp which is at the foot of Kilimanjaro, over the past few days its been a mental and physical challenge for a lot of our team, we have all suffered some form of altitude sickness but have soldiered on to get to this point, we had to walk through snow and rain on the third day which caused us all to have damp clothes which in turn dampened our spirits and made us question what and why we are doing this for but then we looked at our bags and the tags Alice made us and felt really proud, it's around 6.30pm and time for a sleep before we get up at 11pm to start the final climb of 1200 metres to summit, the temp has dropped considerably and is well below freezing and will probably stay this way till morning but we have 7 hours of night walking to do and hopefully we will reach our target of uthuru peak which is around 6895 metres above sea level and the peak of Kilimanjaro, I will blog again in the morning wish us luck
