Mugged

Yes it happened today, that I got mugged by a gang of 6 year olds. Luckily they only made off with 2 rupees (5 cents). However it was quite an ordeal as they followed me for over two blocks grabbing at my hands and pockets. My left hand received a minor laceration which quickly stopped bleeding once I cleaned the wound and applied proper bandages.
The reason for this whole ordeal is that I'm white. I didn't realize this would be such a problem as I thought this was a Mecca of IT, but I've only seen one other white man. And that was unfortunately an obnoxious Frenchman who was demanding orange juice at breakfast instead of the grape or watermelon juice normally provided. With this new information my highlight of the trip is proving to be most different than anticipated; I may have to reassess my travel plans.
