Now this may sound a little rude, but I don't mean it that way, but I think some parts of Ireland qualify as a 3rd world country. The farming community of Wexford county would have nothing if it weren't for the European Union. I think they just got running water and indoor plumbing a few years ago. The services where not up to my high American standards.
One major miscalculation on my part was waiting to do laundry in this county. First, no Launderette in Rosslare Harbour, and the one I was sent to 10 miles away in Wexford was going to be $28 US for one load drop-off. I finally found the one self-service place in the county which was a steal for $12 for one load of laundry. At least I have clean clothes now, so I'm extremely happy...plus I found the one Internet cafe in a 30 mile radius. Well tomorrow I'm off to London using the StenaLine Ferry.
