Well, so far Asia is absolutely mindblowing!!!!! I did not expect to be half as content with my trip as I actually am. Whoever can should come here and experience a culture that sadly is changing due to tourism and globalization but at the same time is trying to keep its ways.

Basically, the last night in Singapore we pulled an all nighter with my uncle. There was one main reason for this. Italy played at 2:45 local time. Of coruse I did not know they were going to lose 3-0 and form that day on everyone would mention the game as soon as they found out I was Italian.
Before going to see the game tho, we went to a bar in Singapore called Clinic (Erin thanks for the advice). While a Beer was 12 dollars, the atmosphere was incredible. Basically u feel like u r in a hospital. We sat on Wheel Chairs. People were drinking out of IVs¡Kand it was just a lot of fun Balinese Dance

.

One last comment on Singapore, I want ot give credit where credit is due and my Uncle Bruno was priceless. He was our personal taxi driver for most of the trip, let us stay in his place, and in general helped us make the stay memorable. Shady, Dom and I are still talking about how much we miss him.

Next, after the all nighter which involved a decent amount of beer, we made it to the airport where we forgot to print the ticket proving we¡¦ll leave bali (which u need to get a Visa) but all was good and managed to hop on Lion Air and take the 2 hour flight to Bali on which we passed out. What was weird tho, there was a whole camera crew on the plane and according to Dominique¡¦s story they were all over the seat behind me with cameras, lights, mikes, etc. Someone important behind me?? Also according to Dom¡¦s story I was sleeping with my mouth open half drooling. I hope they got good shots fº

Once in Bali we proceeded to find out hotel which is simple but nice for 7 bucks a night¡Keven has AC and then walked around Kuta (the beach surfer town we are staying at in Bali). Here we bought some stuff, got harassed by everyone trying to sell things on the street, got asked 20 times if Shady or Dom were my girlfriends Balinise Dance

. And book a day trip for the following day. Oh, we also went to get reflexology, where they massage your feet for 1 and a half hours. Hmmm¡K6 dollars well spent.

Then that night we went out to Bounty which is an awesome club filled with drunken Australians. We got gipped on the taxi price. Made us pay 3 bucks when we could have paid 1.
Finally we went to sleep and the next day our driver (Sam) came at 8:30 and we proceeded to see Bali at it¡¦s greatest. We got home at 8 PM because we were exhausted and asked to end the trip short.
During the day we saw two absolutely amazing Bali dances, we saw people making gold and silver accessories, people carving wood, people making clothes, bags, we saw the money forest which is a forest there hundreds of monkeys chill around u, we drove through Ubud, another major city in bali, we saw a bunch of temples on of which is on a cliff. We tried various fruits like Salak (translated snake skin for its skin) and Balinese cuisine, we ate and chilled in front of an amazing volcano, we saw rice farms, cocoa and coffee farms.

Believe it or not we have not seen the beach yet but that is what today is for Clinic

. WE are going to spend the whole day on the beach, maybe surf up a storm even though we are
absolutely horrible at it. Some more walking around the city but we will certainly enjoy Bali for the next 2 days. Following will be Jakarta, which sounds like the dirtiest sketchiest place to book a hostel or cheap hotel in. One of the reviews for the hotel we booked was, after u leave the water on for a while worms come out. But you know, believe it or not it¡¦s one of the best cheap hotels there. 10 bucks a person per night and it will only be 2 nights.

One word about Shady and Dom, they are legit travelers, Dom¡¦s foot might be semi broken we think as she can¡¦t really walk well but all is good in Asia. We take care of each other and other and life is good.

In case anyone was wondering, enjoy your meal in Balinese is Slamat Makan. Good to know whenever u end up in Bali¡KI guess.

From here my travels will continue and my stories will only get more interesting, no doubt about that. Hope everyone in the US and Italy is doing well.

Ciao
Mambo

Update about Bali: Today we finally went to the beahc and it is amazing. Reminds me a lot of Costa Rica. Waves are awesome. We'll see how the surfing goes. Also, today some guy sold us a painting he made. we bought ti for 20 dollars plus a t shirt. The guy traded a damn tshirt fomr our bag for a painting!! We couldn't believe what was happening. We thought we had an amazing deal! Then later that day another guy was selling us simialr paintings... adn we bought 3 for 5 dollars. Therefore we realized teh first guy made a killing on us aka 2 shirts and 40 bucks total for 2 paintings. Bastard. Well...that's all. Now thT i know I can bargain with pieces of clothing, I will take this hobby of bargaining to a whole new level. I might come back to the US naked but expect some cool gadgets and whatnot.

One hell of a tree-having Clinic you've got there
Boy, it sure is crazy how they build those temples sideways like that. Unreal. Anyway, it looks like you're having a lot of fun albeit being inexplicably crippled at that crazy theme bar. It looks darker and has many more trees than I've ever seen at a hospital, so I don't know what the hell they're going for. As always, have fun and keep on truckin'.
