So, there I am in the middle of the Amazon jungle and I need to get to Aruba.  Since Aruba is actually right above Venezuela you would think it would be pretty easy to get there from South America - right?  WRONG.  1 boat, 4 buses, 5 planes, and 6 taxis later, I finally arrived.  But let me tell you, it was well worth it.

My amazing friend Snyder and his family invited me to spend a week with them at their timeshare in Aruba.  I had an amazing time with his family and fell in love with the beautiful island.  Besides for going jetskiing, we didn't actually DO much throughout the week.  But I was able to finish 3 books and actually go to a gym for the first time in almost 3 months.

I am currently in Panama City (on a 17 hour layover before I get to go meet my family in Colombia).  I spent part of the day today exploring the city and some of the pictures show the beautiful crumbling structures of the old city.  Tomorrow morning I head back to Colombia and my family arrives in the evening - I cannot wait :)
