This morning I woke up feeling pretty horrible after another rough night. Feel like I might be getting sick.

I layed about and looked up some stuff on my phone in regards to traveling to Berlin. Baba wanted a lazy day of doing nothing and wanted to sort out a trip to Berlin on Monday and leave Tuesday... I found a travel agency that might be able to help us and eventually convinced Baba it was best to go today. So we headed off to find the place in the main part of the city

We found the place and they said they could sort out accommodation and a tour for us. We had to go town to the main train station to book our train to and from Berlin then head back and give the travel agency the details. A bit of running around but now it sounds like everything should all be sorted when we're ready to leave on Tuesday.

We then searched around to recharge my phone for calls, which happened to be incredibly hard to do, where only some vodafone stores did it. We then went and kentucky fried chicken for lunch! I had a twister combo and the meat wasnt crumbed which was kinda nice and made me feel healthy. The twister was really long and thin though! I went to go fill up my cup with soft drink and they has lipton lemon iced tea available at the machine, I thought that was pretty cool!

On our way back to the flat we went to the shops to get some cheeses and meats for my great aunt as we're staying with her tonight. Baba also felt the need to buy practically the whole children's lolly/chocolate section for my cousin's son who is also staying with us tonight.

After doing the groceries we headed back to the flat, sorted out our things and then headed back out to pick up my passport from the Vietnamese consulate as I was awaiting my visa to be done.

We got to the Vietnamese consulate place and it was packed! Eventually someone came to serve all of us and everyone was fighting to get in first lol. I got my passport and felt so much relief as I was worried for some reason there may be a problem.

We then headed on the metro across two lines to meet my cousin, Petr, his wife Vera and their 3 year old son Thomash. We met them at the metro station and walked to their place close by. My back was so sore afterwards as I had all my stuff for the weekend in a backpack and Baba gave me wine to carry in there too.

We sat about at Petr's place for a little bit and then headed out to Radlo, which was my Baba's holiday house when she was younger. Baba's sister Jara now lives in the house. After an squeezy hour and a half car ride where everyone spoke in Czech, we finally arrived in Radlo.

As we drove into the driveway, there was the crunching sound of snow beneath the tires. We got out and as we stepped on the snow more crunching. I went to touch it but it was very icy and just felt like an old freezer that had iced over a bit. We walked inside, leaving behind us footprints in the snow.

We got inside and it was a 3 storey old house which was a pub a long long time ago. We sat down and I tried to include myself in the conversations by paying attention, but I had no idea what anyone was saying and felt a bit left out. Jara gave me a huge plate of some cake/scone things with custard, I wasn't hungry but didn't want to be rude and give it back so I ate it. I forgot I'm a bit funny with dairy and about half an hour later had some pretty intense cramping in my stomach. Also to lactose intolerance, there is a very fluffy cat here... I told Baba and she just looked at me carelessly and told me I'd just have to suffer.

I ended up getting ready for bed as there wasn't much for me to do anyway and felt a bit depressed and home sick.

I'm laying in bed now and my stomach is better after Baba gave me some tablet, but my throat, nose and eyes are all super itchy and I feel like I just want to scratch my face off. Yay to cat allergies.

Really missing family and friends right now. I don't feel I'm appreciating my surroundings as much as I should be as I'm constantly feeling a bit down and missing my Adelaide people, most of all Ryan and Dad.
