This one will be short.

So far Jubes has lost his wallet three times....found it three times.  The third time he actually cancelled all his cards before he found it in one of his pockets.

Silva left his wallet in the internet room of our hotel...five minutes later remembered it and came back to find it gone.  The only person in there was the girl that worked the front desk at the hotel.  What can you do...shitty deal.

Myself, well what else happens to me...my camera mysteriously broke.  one morning i try to use it the shutter won't open and the screen is doing all kinds of wierd things.  It was completely screwed up, and now it works...hope it lasts the trip.  I can't remember one trip i didn't have camera troubles....lucky i didn't leave it on the plane this time.

Anyway were in Cebu today, doing laundry and checking out the local scene....not bad if you like bars that play all 80's ballads, karaoke and girly bars....so far not promissing.  though the food we've found is fantastic.  Last night was my birthday....sat in the bars listening to the 80's tunes and drinking more San Miguels.  No matter where we go....we have a blast....last night was priceless.  Silva was wearing flip flops and one of the bars wouldn't let him in, dress code,....they made him wear white socks!!   Do you see the humour in that....you can't wear  "slipper sandals"  but you can wear socks and flipflops, one of the funniest things i have ever seen..   Hahahaha we got ample photos!!!!

Tomorrow off to Palawaan for some diving....looking forward to that.

your camera
Butler,
hey buddy, just thought i would make a comment on your mysterious breaking camera. The absolute worst thing for a camera other than dropping it a buckey of beer is.... salt water air and sand. the sand would be obvious but not the air on the beach. it will kill your camera. put your camera in a ziplock when you are not using it...especially when near the ocean...which is you whole freakin trip. enjoying reading your blog. I traveled Egypt with the guy who invented/runs Travelpod so it's neat to be back here on the sight. enjoy mon frere.
