Well we made it, :) We are camped just outside Halifax in a lovely little spot called Glen Margaret, overlooking St. Margarets Bay.

The campsite is a large one, but at this time of the year it is winding down, most visitors are here for the Fall leaves.

This is one of the few sites in the area that remains open after the middle of October; it's about 30 mins from Leo and Nat so is perfect for us. They came down to meet us after work today and it was just great to see them. We are looking forward to being around for a while and not having to cram our visit into two or three weeks as we have done in the past. Not sure how we'll fare when the temperatures start to fall though!
Although we've been here several times before, it's nice to be back. Halifax is an important port, tourist destination and generally a great place to live.
Here's a taste...

Apologies to all our friends here, there is heaps I have left out... feel free to add your favorite places and things to do in the comment section
