Today's journey was pleasant and did not seem like the 200 miles we covered, but all along the way there was plenty of evidence of yesterday's heavy rain. The roadside was flooded most of the way

Panama City had over 3" rain and snow from another storm system came right down into Alabama, flooding also occurred all along the south eastern states. Sadly the tornado that hit northern Florida claimed two lives and caused much damage.
For us it was a much more enjoyable journey than we would have had yesterday.
Our new campsite is one of the nicest we have found outside the State Parks, whilst crowded - those snow birds again! Not a long site...

 - The surroundings are very lush, rather like a well kept jungle and a walk round the internal roads proved interesting. Home from home

There is a lot of 'extra' water around but everyone is very friendly and many of the residents have truly made this a home from home. We are not to feed the alligators...as if! It's not called 'Turtle Creek' for nothing, once the sun came out so did they!
Obviously something of great interest above!
