Today we left the Bay of Islands and headed to the Coromandel Peninsula. After a long drive we arrived at Hot Water Beach where thermal waters brew just below the sand. We joined the crowd with our rented spade and dug a 2 foot hole. After all the hard work we jumped in and relaxed in our own natural spa pool as we watched the sun set with a cold beer in our hand. It was great fun.
