The last few days we've just been hanging around Cairns catching up on Travelpod, washing, swapping books and getting ready for New Zealand. Overall, we have enjoyed our time in Australia. Melbourne was great, a welcomed break from travelling and we made some great friends. After 3 months though it was good to get back on the road again. the east coast of Australia was a bit of a disappointment. We didn't really get the weather which prevented us doing things we would have done if the weather had been good. The entire east coast is extremely "touristy" and therefore very expensive so we spent much more than we budgeted for. Anyway, overall we had a great road trip and are looking forward to flying to New Zealand tomorrow.
