Brisbane is a really nice city. It has a street beach which is basically a man-made beach in the city centre. We parked up in the centre for the day and looked around. Its not much fun in a big city when you have very little money but at least we got a feel for it anyway. Then came the highlight of our day....shopping for dinner. Our tactic was to hit the supermarkets late to scoop up the bargains. We had a dinner budget of $5 but if we made the right choices we could cook up a storm in our one pot!!
