The Gold Coast is a large commercial city and is also Australia's most famous tourist destination. The Gold Coast itself consists of 30 miles of beaches stretched out over 5 towns. We stayed at Surfer's Paradise, the most famous destination on the Gold Coast. Surfer's Paradise is the same set up as Magalluf or Santa Ponsa but with 10 foot waves. The sun was beating down so we made the most of it and hit the beach for a few hours with the masses and entertained ourselves by getting smashed by the waves.
