Today we visited the Tiger Temple, the home of 12 wild tigers. They live with some Buddist Monks in a Temple in Saiyok. The Monks have a unique and special relationship with the tigers. One of the Monks takes you by the hand and leads you over to the tigers where you can pet them and have a photo taken. It all sounded like fun until we were asked to sign an indemnity form " the Monks could not be held responsible for any loss of life or limb..." A strange smell filled the air!!! We walked out on our own two legs and both agreed it was a risk well worth taking.

amazing photos of the tigers.It was hard to believe that a tiger could lie there so docile and even harder to believe that you would sit beside them.We are not fooled! If you examine the photos closer you can see that the tigers are a strange shape because they really are a couple of monks dressed up in one of Bet Lynch's dresses.
