Left Jalsalmer for a city called Jodipur, the blue city, which was another busy and heavily polluted city. Jodipur has a nice fort overlooking the city and looking down from this you can see where it gets its name from, as all the walls of the buildings are painted blue. PArt form that Jodipur was not much fun. There were rats in our hotel and we were getting more hassle than usual on the streets. By that night we were feeling pretty pissed off with India. Mr Singh almost pushed us over the edge when he flicked the air conditioning on and said with a smile "You like this huh?" We could not believe it! After 10 days of foul, shit smelling, carbon monoxide filled air pouring down our noses.... "You like this huh?" I had to hold Mairead back. Mr Singh then casually informed us that for a "small" fee of $50 he would allow us the luxury. We looked at each other and almost at exactly the same time rolled our windows down without saying a word. Our relationship with the Singhster was deteriorating rapidly. We were cheered up a bit after a nice meal at Captain Bollywood's.
