Hi,

Once again think this is going to be a long one!

My last night in Koh Tao was memorable well until about 10.30pm anyway, I was quite drunk so thanks Niall putting me to bed, turning on my AC & locking me in!!

I had a good night I had a song dedicated to me, thanks Barry, & I head butted my first girl in the nose due to Stephen & Niall throwing me around. Don't think she would of reacted so badly if she hadn't broken her nose 2 weeks previous when she got hit by a Kayak!!! I felt awful.

Said goodbye to everyone on Thursday which was very sad as I had the best time in Thailand but I will be visiting Dublin upon my return (for sure) ha one for Stephen there.

I booked the night boat & 2 buses to get to Malaysia, a 22hr journey, was going to fly but figured I am travelling so best do it the correct way. I arrived at the night boat jumped aboard & just laughed at it. I'll try to explain the best I can about how they look. When you check in you are given a number & that is your bed for the night, well I say bed, the boats have two long rows of double matresses with your number above it & that is your strip!! its 3 people to a matress & I was not impressed as I got the crack!!!!!!!! It was very snug to say the least, if I turned to my left I had a ozzy guy & if I turned to the right I had a ozzy girl- very strange but an experience.

The journey itself was so rough, the boat was going everywhere & did start to panic a little when a Thai person got a life jacket. I was laughing though as so many people were hanging overboard being sick but a ozzy girl from melbourne was being so sick & I mean severally sick but she still managed to be very sarcastic & witty about it.

We arrived at the port in a place beginnning with a S then had to wait half hour for a bus to take us to Hat Yai (This is where I got a text about Jacko dying) I soon spread the word on a international level. When I got on the bus I was so happy as heard 2 northern girls talking so had to approach as only met 2 so far, they were lovely & were from Leeds so spent my journey with them. Had to do a border crossing & how many times we had to get off the bus to be searched was a joke- note to self never sit at the front of the bus as your a ideal target to get picked on. When we hit Malaysia we had to get off the bus get our bags & get our passport stamped, a man approached me & asked me to follow him & took me to a room, I thought oh they must be searching my bag, even though you know you have nothing on you I still panic incase someone has planted something on me. When I got to the room it was just some nurses wanting to take my temp for swine flu!! Back on the bus for Penang.

Arrived in Penang & said goodbye to the Leeds girls who were heading for KL, was shattered so just checked in & booked a tour for the next day around Penang.

Oh had a shower & I am now sick on toilets that are just holes in the floor, here in this hostel the hole in the floor & shower are all in the same room, wasn't impressed when my soap slipped out of my hand down the hole, obviously didn't go find it but was so annoyed.

Got picked up for my trip at 9.30am, met a lad called James who is a geordie who is staying at my guest house too, also met 4 girls from Brighton, they were lovely. Went to temples & Buddha's first thing, one of the temples we were dropped off had something going on so we all walked in quite sheeplishly, we were getting looked at up & down & just kept getting starred at. I finally walked up to someone & said is it ok to come in & this man said yes, we only gate crashed a bloody wedding, we were mortified!! the chef man came over & was sweet & welcomed us & said we could pictures, he put us all a red spot on our head & said a prayer for us all that we would all be rich one day!!! The girls looked stunning & the men were just singing with drums.

The snake temple was good except for seeing a massive tortoise, I didn't expect it so when I looked down & it was by my feet I freaked, ran away & the girls couldn't believe that they were my biggest fear so the other Kate went to get a picture.

We visited a chocolate factory, I felt quite sick after eating a dozen pieces of chocolate but was gutted as we presumed we'd see where they made the chocolate but it is made in London.

Went out with James last night for tea & we watched the Rugby, my first full game & quite enjoyed it except for the final score.

It was raining this morning so decided to go shopping & treat myself to a foot, hand, back & shoulder massage, much better than Thailand. Could not believe it though when the beautican let out a massive burp & didn't excuse herself (Gina A it was worst than yours) it did make me laugh to myself though, then she did it again- that wouldn't happen in England!

Well leaving here tomorrow to go to Ferranghi for a couple of days then off to Lankawi for a sunbathe

17 days until I hit OZ

Until next time x
