The wannabe Hong Kong doesn't have a whole lot to offer in terms of sights but it's not a bad spot nonetheless. We stayed on Shaiman Island, which is the French colonial part of the city and a bit more tranquil than the rest of the place. There's a huge river running through Guangzhou and a nice promenade alongside it which improves the city no end.

Most of our time here was spent shopping for Christmas presents. It's such hard work bargaining for every single little thing that by the time we were done we were physically and emotionally worn out. Hope the families appreciate it!
