After Pusser's we went to a little area that was full of clubs, most were empty, but drinks were cheap so we stayed out late. We ended up at McDonalds where we proceeded to buy 7 chicken Mcnuggets, 2 big macs, 2 ciabattas, 2 fries, and three cokes.... oh dear! That is how you spend 50 euro at the golden arches!
Very fun day. After sleeping in late we got some lunch and set off for a local watering hole call Pusser's New York Bar. They claimed to have authentic painkillers and I must say I was skeptical at first, that is until I took the first sip. Amazing! The ingredients were all legit, right down to the Pusser's rum and the nutmeg sprinkled on top. The owner, Bill, was a living history book that loved sitting with us and telling endless stories about Pusser's history and the BVI. His son, David, mixed the drinks and all were made extremely well with tremendous attention to detail. The only downfall was the price, 18 Euro each. Steep, but I guess it is the going rate for an authentic painkiller in the middle of Europe. We spent a long time there, laughing and telling stories back and forth, and it easily turned into our most espensive night so far, but in the end it was worth it and we will probobly go back today to give the owner Chris' LAFD hat that Bill agreed to hang at the bar. So if you are ever in Munich drop by the bar to make sure the hat is still hanging, if not Bill has agreed to pay for drinks all night long.
