Day 9

We left Jasper about 8AM and headed east for Edmonton on Route 16.
We made good time on the road to Edmonton, thanks to the fact that there is nothing to see :)  We arrived at our hotel in Edmonton around noon after getting a little lost in the city - we missed our guides Tiffany and Geraldine from Adventures By Disney :)

We decided our focus in Edmonton would be the West Edmonton Mall.  Seems silly, but it is the largest mall in North America.  Has over 800 stores -- is over 5 million square feet.  It has an indoor Waterpark including a wave pool and multiple watersides.  An ice skating rink, an indoor amusement park with 3 roller coasters and many other attractions.  An aquarium.  An indoor Water Show with Sea Lions and other animals.  An indoor miniature golf course and an indoor pitch and putt area.  The place is amazing!  There were multiple food areas including "Chinatown" and "Bourbon Street."

By the time we made it to the mall we were starving -- Bonnie tried Poutine -- French Fries with gravy and cheese curd -- famous in the Quebec/Montreal area of Canada.  Andre would be proud :)

Back to the hotel after a full afternoon of shopping.  Casino tonight??? Not sure, but definitely packing for a day of travel on Monday.
