In the morning we had a lovely walk in Colmar. It is the capital of the Alsace wine region. It had lots of churches and preserved historical buildings including the "little Venice" quarter. It was again quite hot to walk so we stuck to the shade and still managed to see a lot of it. Then we turned south and drove to the gateway to the Wine Route at Thann and then picked up the route towards the north. We stopped briefly at Soultz and then found a campsite at Guebwiller. The campsite gives free passes to the local swimming pools so we had a brief dip although the sun was going in but the temperature was still quite hot. They only allowed swimming in speedo type trunks, which Paul didn't have, so his swimming was short before he got thrown out!

Rano jsme si udelali hezkou prochazku mestem Colmar. Je to hlavni mesto Alsaske vinne oblasti. Ma hodne kostelu a zachovanych historickych budov vcetne ctvrti zvane “male Benatky”.
