You gotta love Manitoba and Saskatchewan! 110 speed limit! We stayed within 10 Kms give or take.  :D

Today started out with Cecile leading us out of Winnipeg and back to the TC-1.  We drove to Brandon, MB and stopped for lunch.  Once inside Sasktchewan I expected to see long straight roads and nothing much else.  I was pleasantly surprised to find that Saskatchewan is not as flat and boring as I'd been told.  At Whitewood, SK, we stopped for gas and Allison took over the driving to get us to Regina and the RCMP Heritage Center.  We got there too late for a tour and won't have time tomorrow so we just checked out the gift shop and took some pictures.

Saskatchewan is strange as far as time.  We entered the Central time zone in Ontario but shouldn't hit Mountain time until the Alberta border yet it's an hour earlier in Regina than in Winnipeg.  Cecile told me that Saskatchewan doesn't change their time at all so I guess they never sprang forward. We're in Mountain time a little early.

We got to the Safari Motel in Swift Current around 8:30 (central/mountain :P ) and have been taking turns on the computer.

Tomorrow we drive to Calgary, with a stop at Fort Walsh first, for our first 4 nights of camping and the Calgary Stampede.  There is threat of rain....we've got our fingers crossed for otherwise.
