Today we did another walking tour of the city and it was the three of us in all of our towering glory.  We hit up the imperial palace where people were asking to take our picture left and right.  We ventured through ginza again and then made a move to check out a sumo wrestling tournament!!!  The tournament was one of the cooler sporting events I've ever been to and I was very impressed with how much of the tradition the sport has been able to retain in the face of pressure for excitement and commercialism.  There were no advertisements in the stadium and each bout only lasted a matter of seconds but the procession before lasted nearly ten minutes!

After the tournament I leave the sisters to do dinner by themselves and wind up playing soccer with a bunch of locals at a nearby park before grabbing sushis and hitting the bed early.  The soccer was nothing special and played on a gravel/dirt mix but I enjoyed getting a workout and was flattered when they asked for an autograph after we were done.  I can only imagine how star-struck some of these people would be in NYC or LA!
